Synopsis
The Emperor is a turn-based strategy video game developed and published by Koei in the 1989 NES. The player plays Napoleon Bonaparte during the Napoleonic Wars and has the objective of conquering Europe. At the start of the game, the player is only a simple officer but his victories gradually make him rise in rank until he becomes the Emperor of France, each promotion giving him additional powers. The player must lead his army into combat but also manage his cities and take care of diplomacy.
