Synopsis

Written entirely in BASIC with blocky graphics and simple beeps, this game puts you in charge of the RAF's defense against the German blitz on London in 1940. The 31x20 square map uses alphabetical coordinates. You command nine squadrons based in the South East of England.

Radar and observers indicate nine German bomber formations targeting one of three defense points, whose positions are random each game. You must deploy your units to intercept the bombers and initiate aerial combat.

Send the fighters to the chosen coordinates taking into account the trajectories of the bombers, the autonomy of the squadrons and the refueling and rearmament times. The objective is to prevent more than 100 bombers from reaching their targets, a number adjustable depending on the difficulty. The game offered a quasi-real-time system, revolutionary for the time.
