Synopsis

the story takes place a long time ago, in the kingdom of Baltia, governed by King Isaac. The latter keeps the famous sacred sword Langrisser sealed in his castle. As everything could not remain calm, otherwise the credibility of the game would have taken a hit, the castle was obviously attacked by the troops of the Daigoz empire, and the sword cunningly stolen. To finish darkening an already not exactly rosy scenario, the King is assassinated during the fight, while the young Ledin - you! - escapes with Princess Nâmu, determined to avenge the death of her father and to find a Langrisser hiding many secrets...
Langrisser is a Tactical-RPG. The game actually presents itself as a stupid succession of fights, without any real exploration phase, and where the scenario progresses automatically between each battle. In terms of its progress, Langrisser is therefore closer to the GameGear versions of Shining Force than to the Megadrive versions. Players who don't understand anything about Japanese and who complain every time they have to explore a village will undoubtedly be delighted. As for Japanese people, or quite simply those who love to prowl like wolves in order to find the rare object, they will undoubtedly be disappointed by the lack of freedom offered.
