Synopsis

Last Mission is a multidirectional shoot'em up from Data East where the player pilots a spaceship capable of moving in eight directions. You must destroy enemy forces using basic fire, weapon power-ups collected from destroyed installations, as well as smart bombs. Special weapons have a limited duration, indicated by a bar. A scanner displays remaining units, while a progress bar fills as damage is inflicted; once complete, it triggers the appearance of a mothership acting as a boss. The levels feature varied environments, ranging from sea areas to land terrains to a space stage.
