Synopsis

Last Mission is a multi-directional shoot'em up of Data East where the player pilots an spacecraft capable of moving in all eight directions. We must destroy enemy forces by using a basic shot, power-ups of weapons recovered from destroyed facilities, as well as smart bombs. Special weapons have a limited duration, indicated by a bar. A scanner displays the remaining units, while a progress bar fills up over the damage dealt; once complete, it triggers the appearance of a mother ship acting as a boss. The levels offer a variety of environments, from maritime areas to land to a space course.
