Synopsis

Layer Section II (RayStorm in arcade version) is a shoot'em up, ported to the Playstation and Saturn home consoles. Although there is no connection to the story, it is often considered the spiritual successor to RayForce, which had similar gameplay.
You have 2 weapons at your disposal, a Vulcan cannon and lock-on missiles. You can also perform 2 special attacks using the lock-on system in a special way. The graphics are all 3D, but the game mechanics are 2D. There are 7 stages, each ending with a giant final boss.
