Synopsis

One of Jeff Minter's early '80s shoot'em'ups in his typical frenetic style, Laser Zone lets you control not one, but two "zone gunners" in a tight playing field. Controlled with a single joystick, you move one area gunner up one vertical wall and one down. Wave after wave of bad guys enter the area and must be taken down before they reach either wall, where no cannons can reach them and they advance towards you. You can try to escape perpetually, since your movements wrap around the edges of the screen, at least until another enemy has reached your wall, but you're better off using one of your electric bolts which will clear everything on the screen.
