Synopsis

FIL Presents an absolutely original puzzle game, although very old, almost completely unknown in France, but fascinating in several ways. It opposes, on a chessboard of eighty-one squares, the camp of the king called Caesar, Henry IV or Napoleon, who at the start of the game, stands on the central square surrounded by eight friendly pawns, and the camp of sixteen other pawns, distributed near the edge of the chessboard. The king, always played by the computer, wins if he reaches one of the squares on the periphery. All the pieces move like chess rooks: a piece surrounded by two enemies is taken, the king mobilizes four enemies before surrendering. Two starting arrangements, combined with the three strategies corresponding to the three kings, and combined with the three levels of difficulty, give a singular richness to a simple game whose games, at the beginning, end, barely begun, with a humiliating defeat for your side. The combination of its apparent simplicity and a high level makes the program an original success.
