Synopsis

LEGO Star Wars II is a third-person action game with platform elements. Players take control of Star Wars characters and vehicles. In Story Mode, players replay key events from the original films with LEGO bricks. Each character has different weapons, like lightsabers for the Jedi or crossbows for the Wookies, as well as new attacks and maneuvers specific to each character. Each character also has different abilities, for example Jedi can use the force, R2-D2 can unlock doors or Boba Fett can use his jetpack. It's up to the player to use these abilities to solve simple puzzles and get through the game's levels. Levels with vehicles are more prevalent than in the previous game, with longer sequences devoted to piloting traditional Star Wars planes.
