Synopsis

Liberation is a 2D scrolling top-down shooter. The game has two sections: first, the player controls a helicopter, flies over forests, shoots enemies and searches villages. Once the helicopter lands, the player controls a tank or other vehicle and must rescue the prisoners in the village. Helicopter shooting is quite typical, but unlike most other games of the genre, the screen does not automatically move vertically, the player can fly freely above the battlefield (but can only shoot forward). Tank control is similar to Jackal - the vehicle moves and shoots in all directions. In garages, the tank can be replaced by a jeep.
