Synopsis

The Liberator controls consist of a target trackball, a fire button, and a shield button to protect four spaceships arranged at the corners of the screen.
Each level starts with an assault wave of suicide ships trying to hit you. Shields do not work during this phase.
After this stage, your ships reach a planet where you must destroy the bases while protecting yourself from the ships, missiles and bombs they send you. At higher levels, a parent base can change the direction and speed of rotation of the planet to avoid being hit.
