Synopsis

Lingo is a digital version of the game show of the same name. Like in the game show, the objective is to guess five-letter words. You are only given the first letter. You have several trials and in each trial the letters are marked which are correctly placed and which ones appear in the word but in a different place. In words, you have to blindly draw a ball from a pool. There are 17 numbered balls that correspond to a number on a bingo card. There is a ball with a question mark that allows players to choose a number at will. When players complete a row or column, they receive bonus points. There are also three red balls that pass the turn to the other player and three green balls. A green ball allows you to choose another ball and also when you get three green balls before the end of the game, you win a jackpot. The game starts with two players, but after a few rounds the player with the most points advances to the final. The game is in Dutch and therefore only features Dutch words. It contains a library of 15,000 words. There are also options for six and seven letter sets. It is officially licensed to the Dutch iteration of the game show and therefore includes Dutch television presenter François Boulangé.
