Synopsis

London Blitz puts you in the boots of a Royal Engineers lance corporal during WWII, tasked with disarming unexploded bombs scattered across London. A map shows their locations – then the tension begins. On the C64, you rotate dials to enter numbers and try to trigger the disarm switch. On the Atari 2600, control schemes vary with bomb color: green bombs have fixed slider-switch assignments, orange bombs change randomly, and blue bombs offer no control – you just hope. Each defused bomb earns progress toward a promotion. Failures cause emotion. Reach captain to win – fall below lance corporal or die in a blast, and it's game over.
