Synopsis

Fight during the Genpei War, a civil war between two noble families, the Minamoto and the Taira, between 1180 and 1185 in Japan.
Japan, 12th century. After your father was assassinated, you set out on a quest to become Shogun to restore your family's honor. You have the choice of playing as one of the two Minamoto brothers (the strategist Yoritomo or the warrior Yoshitsune) who have sworn to avenge the death of their father, or Kiyomori the Warchief of the Taira clan who caused it! You will have to defeat all your enemies, including your brother.
With an interface based on a geographic map, the player must coordinate the deployment of his armies, ensure their resources and manage their skills in order to combat opposing armies and conquer new territories. The game includes a diplomatic dimension allowing you to negotiate alliances with other clans and allows you to take part directly in combat through five action sequences.
Most of the time, you'll be moving your troops across the large map of Japan - whenever something happens, you'll have to fight your enemies in action sequences, like a fortress attack or defending against a Ninja assassin. If two troops collide, a battle could ensue in which you will have to use all your strategic minds to guide your men to victory.
Each game can have a very different path taking into account the possibilities of evolution, the interactions with independent clans and the choice of the difficulty of the game. At the end of the game, the player receives an evaluation among twenty-five possible. It depends on the skills acquired, the number of generals commanded, territories held and sacred treasures collected.
