Synopsis

Lost Souls is a MUD, a free online multiplayer text-based RPG (role-playing game). The theme of the setting is medieval fantasy, with elements drawn from a wide variety of sources as well as entirely original content. Your character in the game fights monsters, develops skills, progresses, pursues quests and explores the vast and detailed world.

Lost Souls was founded in 1990 and has been in continuous development for thirty-two years. While many MUDs consider themselves essentially finished works, Lost Souls prides itself on always working to improve its technology and design, continually reinventing the gaming experience.
