Synopsis

Maboroshi Tsukiyo is a visual novel adventure game that originated on the Dreamcast and was ported to the PlayStation platform six months later. The game features a full-screen presentation with dialogue and description text displayed on a dimmed background rather than using dialog windows. The story progresses one day at a time and takes place between June and September. The protagonist, whose name can be entered by the player or left as the default, is a high school student who one day meets Ayame, a ghost girl, who begins to live with him. Ayame can't do much in her ghost form, but she can possess someone else's body. Suddenly, our protagonist's peaceful life turns into mystery and adventure. Based on the player's actions as well as past events related to the current story, the game will branch in a certain direction and lead to one of several endings.
