Synopsis

Magic Fields is a challenging puzzle game featuring 99 levels and a high score leaderboard. The goal is to clear the board by eliminating all visible shells. Each press of the fire button reverses the selected board and adjacent boards in all four cardinal directions, including the one below the player character. A level is completed when there are no visible shells left. Players start with three lives and time is limited, requiring great responsiveness as running out of time costs a life. Progress cannot be exploited by pausing the game, as the screen is cleared during pauses. Once the game is over, players can enter their name in the high score leaderboard, saved on disk. Skill and logic are essential to mastering this demanding game.
