Synopsis

Videocart-8 contains two different games. Mind Reader is a digital version of the Master Mind guessing game. The console chooses a random number and the player has 20 chances to guess it. After each guess, the screen displays the number of numbers correctly placed and the number of numbers correct but in the wrong place. Each wrong guess increases the computer's score, and finding the code increases the player's score. The game can be played with a time limit instead of a limited number of guesses. Nim is a single-player adaptation of a 2-player game. Depending on the options, there are a few stacks on the screen with a number of items. The player and console take turns removing an arbitrary number of items from the stacks. They must remove at least 1 element and only from 1 pile each turn. The side that removes the last element wins the round. The game can also be played with a time limit.
