Synopsis

Magic Serpent is a variation of Snake. The player controls a snake named Lenni who must eat all the fruits scattered throughout the side-scrolling levels. These levels are built like mazes, that is to say a complex network of small corridors. With each fruit eaten, Lenni grows. The player must guide it (it moves and turns automatically when it encounters a wall; the player only intervenes to make a new turn) so that it does not get stuck. Each level must be completed in under 60 seconds, but collecting timers helps extend this time. Other power-ups include rabbits (which speed up Lenni), snails (which slow Lenni down, but without exceeding his base speed), axes (which return Lenni to his original size), and teleports to the starting point. Each bonus also affects the score.
