Synopsis

You are Mike Erlin, second lieutenant aboard the United Planets Survey Service starship “Stellar Queen.” While investigating the stars and planets of the Pleiades cluster, you lose contact with your sister ship, the “Stellar Princess.” Your captain orders the “Queen” to proceed to the “Princess’s” last known position so that a search for her can begin. When you reach that position, you find yourself near an Earth-like planet with three moons. The largest of these moons is bigger than Earth’s moon. As the “Queen” approaches the planet, a powerful tractor beam shoots out from the large moon and seizes the “Queen”! The ship picks up speed and hurtles toward an almost certain crash on the moon!! As the “Queen” plummets, the pilot and chief engineer manage—through sheer skill—to turn the ship around and fire the main engines to slow it down.
