Synopsis

In Magnetron, the player controls the robot KLP-2, whose mission is to destroy a series of space stations orbiting the planet Quartech by overloading or shutting down each station's four nuclear reactors. KLP-2 transports nuclear fuel rods, positively or negatively charged and of varying weight, between reactors. Weight influences the speed of the robot and makes maneuvering, particularly on slopes, more difficult. The charge on the fuel rods determines how the robot interacts with the arrow tiles on the ground: a positive charge moves it in the direction of the arrow, while a negative charge moves it in the opposite direction. Skill and strategy are essential to overcoming obstacles.
