Synopsis

Mahjong Haouden: Kaiser's Quest ("Mahjong Overlord: Kaiser's Quest") is a mahjong game released exclusively for PC Engine. The game features a handful of RPG heroes as they attempt to eliminate the various monsters and villains that have conquered their kingdom. To defeat these monsters, the player must beat them in mahjong games. The player has three characters to choose from initially, with more becoming available later.

The mahjong side of the game features a standard one-on-one mode. The player must win a few games to get 100% of the available points, and more points can be earned depending on how the player won.
