Synopsis

Picking up immediately where Manhunter: New York, Manhunter 2: San Francisco sees the player crash-landing their stolen ship in the city by the bay after unsuccessfully attempting to track the enigmatic serial killer Phil. With no other choice, the player assumes the identity of a local Manhunter and solves other crimes on behalf of the alien Orbs while searching for Phil and working for the local human resistance.

Manhunter 2 features the same urban decay and oppressive regime of alien invaders as in the original game, but this time using the streets and landmarks of the Bay Area. The Golden Gate Bridge, Coit Tower, Alcatraz Prison and the TransAmerica Pyramid have all been transformed by aliens. New puzzles, new characters, and new investigations await the player as they track Phil through his series of strangled corpses.
