Synopsis

The game takes place in Super Hero City and sees the squad of superheroes fighting against Dr. Doom's legion of villains. The story goes that long ago the mighty Sword of Infinity was shattered and Dr. Doom and his minions are searching for the pieces, the Fractals of Infinity. Each fractal is immensely powerful and gives the possessor special powers. Super Hero City is in danger and only the Super Hero Squad can save the day!

With such a storyline, the stage is set for plenty of combat, although enemies can be targeted and players can throw items and use ranged attacks. Players can either follow the story in Adventure mode or fight with other players in Combat mode.
