Mary Shelley's Frankenstein
Synopsis
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is a video game that is based on the 1994 film of the same name. This version includes a bonus game: Bram Stoker's Dracula.
The player controls Frankenstein's monster as he roams the streets of Ingolstadt, Bavaria, in 1793, seeking revenge on a certain Victor for rejecting him after creating him. Since he is an artificially manufactured product, he is condemned and declared a pariah by peasants and soldiers. The ordinary people who strive to kill Frankenstein's monster are very ignorant about modern science and believe that he is really a demon.
The player uses a wooden stick to fend off enemies. The staff that Frankenstein's monster carries can be ignited if it is swung towards the fire. Frankenstein also has an additional attack; A blue ball of negative energy that appears when the player releases the button. Peasants in the game can either be male or female; Soldiers are always men. Female peasants attack with pots while male peasants attack with melee weapons. However, the soldiers (dressed in red) attack the player with musket fire. Simple puzzles involving switches and pulleys must be solved in order to progress through the levels.
