Synopsis

Match Point pioneered the field of tennis simulation by creating many of the conventions that would become standard features in later tennis games. Matches can be played at quarter-final, semi-final or final level. Winning at a level automatically advances the player to the next round. Games are played in 3 or 5 sets, with a player needing a 2-game lead to win a set, although a tie-break occurs at 6–6 in all but the last set.
