Synopsis

Maxwell Manor: Skull of Doom is an action game with alternating top and side views. The player embodies Professor Arabesque, charged by the Psychic Society with countering the harmful influence of the Skull of Destiny. Arabesque must progress through the mansion by jumping and shooting, collecting treasures and using them to solve the mystery. With each death, the player finds themselves in a limbo room with random exits; only one allows Arabesque to be resurrected, the others leading to death. Bonuses and map configuration are randomly generated each game, offering over 1000 variations and ten difficulty levels. Like modern FPS games, vases allow you to refill ammo and recover lives, which are reset at the start of each hour of play.
