Synopsis

Mayhem is a fast-paced car racing and destroying arcade game. The game's inspiration comes from two distinct event types: Demolition Derby and Banger Racing. A demolition derby is more of an American pastime, primarily at state fairs and the like. Contestants take an old wrecked car, strip it of all glass and other "dangerous" items, spray paint the car and decorate it to their liking, then beat it to death in the main event. The last vehicle standing is the winner. A Banger Race is more practiced in the United Kingdom. Races take place on small courses with pits and hills, and drivers are encouraged to throw opponents off course. Courses can have hazards and obstacles, and the “8” shaped course is a racing staple. Whether it's Banger races or demolition derbies, the fact is that everyone loves to see everyone else take to the mat and come out on top, and that's what Mayhem is all about.
