Synopsis

Mechanicus is a pinball game for up to four players, renowned for its three boards (levels) and numerous bonuses. Each player starts with three marbles, and additional marbles are dealt at certain scores (30000, 80000, 130000 and 180000 points). After the last normal ball, a “special ball” comes into play; its duration depends on the stopwatch displayed at the bottom right. Losing this marble costs three minutes. If the ball is stopped by a pinball machine, a status report is displayed in the status bar. At 100,000 points, an exit opens, allowing access to the next level. In multiplayer mode, the exit opens for all players as soon as a player reaches the required score. Regardless of which player activates the exit first, all players are transported to the next level.
