Synopsis

You probably know the B-52 Stratofortress, this flying monster which had its "heyday" during the Vietnam War. 8 reactors, 56 meters wingspan, 120 tonnes once loaded, including 30 in missiles and bombs of all kinds: ideal for massive bombing. What would a B-52 equipped with the latest technological discoveries look like? This is what Dale Brown imagined in his novel "Flight of the Old Dog": a B-52 is restyled and renamed "Megafortress" (or "Old Dog" for short) in order to destroy a military installation armed with a laser on Soviet territory. “Megafortress” is a free adaptation of this novel.
