Synopsis

The game takes place on a grid of 4x4 atoms where a rebellious quark circulates, removing electrons and weakening the atoms. If all become unstable, the reactor explodes. The player, the last scientist, must use an atomic stabilizer and cadmium rods to align the axes and neutralize the quark. Each elimination causes a new enemy to appear, making vigilance constant. The core temperature is represented by a bar: the more it lengthens, the more the reactor stabilizes. With each success, the difficulty increases with more quarks, faster and more destructive. Simple in concept but addictive, Meltdown stands out for its original graphic style and its gradual increase in intensity.
