Synopsis

MeltyLancer: Ginga Shōjo Keisatsu 2086 is a life simulation game and an expanded port of the PC game The Melting Pot Police: MeltyLancer. The game is played in the same way: the player determines the schedule of 6 young "Lancers", their patrols and their leave, what types of training to follow to refine their skills. Combat can take place during patrols or special missions, but is largely automated, with the player having only limited control, such as ordering the "Lancers" to retreat.
The console versions contain revised mechanics and story compared to the PC version, with additional events, full voice acting, and completely overhauled graphics and audio. The later Saturn version includes even more events, although it is otherwise the same game as the PlayStation version.
