Synopsis

Set in the ruined subway of a post-apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is an intensive underground survival story where the fate of humanity rests in your hands. In 2013, the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, wiping out almost all of humanity and transforming the earth's surface into a poisonous wasteland. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow underground, and human civilization entered a new dark age. The year is 2033. An entire generation has been born and raised underground, and the besieged subway station cities are fighting for survival, against each other, and against the mutating horrors that await them outside. You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but raised underground. While he has never ventured beyond the limits of his station city, a fateful event pushes him to embark on a desperate mission into the heart of the metropolitan system, in order to warn the remnants of humanity of a terrible imminent threat. Your journey will take you from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the wastelands of the sky, where your actions will determine the fate of humanity.
