Synopsis

Microleague shifts focus away from action to strategy in this licensed baseball game. Actual teams and players are included, as well as classic teams from the past - many data discs have been released with additional lineups. Each game is represented graphically and accompanied by a commentary which details its progress.

A wide range of strategies are available. You can bring in replacement players and instruct them on how to play aggressively when the opportunity presents itself, with 7 distinct hitting strategies. As an outfielder, you have a choice between field placement and playing style - use the fastball and curveball wisely. Players sometimes injure themselves (a good warm-up can reduce this risk) or argue with the referee over controversial decisions.
