Synopsis

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is an action-adventure game that puts you in the shoes of Talion, a Ranger guarding the Black Gate of Mordor, stronghold of Sauron, the Lord of the Rings. Shot down by a group of orcs, he comes back to life linked to the ghost of an elf who gives him many powers. The player explores an open and hostile world, in which he will have to hunt down and assassinate orc captains.
There are elements like towers to unlock parts of the map and a combat system with stealth attacks with a dagger, combat with the sword, and the ranged weapon, which is a bow. Each of these weapons can be equipped with runes, which grant them special abilities, such as increased damage. These runes are obtained by killing a high-ranking Uruk from Sauron's army.
