Synopsis

Mindseeker is an adventure game from Namco that tests the player's extra-sensory perception and latent psychic abilities. It features Japanese television psychic Masuaki Kiyota, who is best known in his native country for a spoon-bending act similar to that of Israeli psychic Uri Geller.

The player can explore the world using two commands: Feel and Exit. The Exit command simply moves the character to a new area, while the Feel command allows the player to interact with the different objects and people in the world; in the context of gaming, the term "feel" is analogous to "sense". The player also has the option to enter their own name at the start of the game. Aside from the adventure game elements, much of the game consists of playing mini-games designed to test the player's psychic abilities, such as a card game where the player must guess which symbol will appear next.
