Synopsis

Missing Links is a crossword game where players must complete words and sentences by inserting missing letters. The goal is to reconstruct the text with as few errors as possible. The difficulty lies in using linguistic intuition and the ability to recognize patterns to complete the text. As the text is revealed, new clues appear to facilitate future attempts. The difficulty level is adjustable: it can be missing just a few letters or leaving entire texts blank. Players can choose excerpts from classic children's literature, such as “My Side of the Mountain,” “The Wind in the Willows,” “From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler,” “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
