Synopsis

This is a single-player platform game starring Hipopo, a platypus (called a hippopotamus) who must make his way through a large number of enemy-filled levels in search of his missing girlfriend - saving other platypuses along the way. Hipopo is armed with water bombs that can be thrown at enemies to drench and damage them. Once soaked, enemies can then be struck and completely destroyed. However, enemies left without a kick will dry out and recover after a short period of time.

The level design features moving platforms, folding floors, boats, and waterwheels all making appearances. Small plants also appear on certain levels that can be "watered", making them grow and creating new platforms. Quite appropriately for a game that features water as its primary weapon, many enemies and later levels have a fire theme. He can also collect cakes and other items to earn more points.
