Synopsis

Momotarou Dentetsu (and not densetsu, which means "legend", but dentetsu, which means "train"!) is the first opus in a long series of board games loosely inspired by the famous Japanese folk tale of Momotarou. The latter is a young boy discovered in a huge fishery by an old couple and who later became the savior of his village by defeating evil demons and seizing their treasure.

The game can be played against artificial intelligence or human opponents (up to three). It is a board game where players' trains move across a map of Japan, divided into sections marked by circles indicating the number of possible moves. This number is determined by rolling a die. Some special circles allow access to various typically Japanese locations, where bonuses can be obtained before continuing with the "railway competition".
