Synopsis
Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is an action-RPG video game developed and published by Capcom, released for PlayStation Portable on December 1, 2010 only in Japan. The game introduces new regions, new monsters and a renewed combat system for Felyne. It features an original story, which is separate from that of Monster Hunter Tri and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, since the majority of the game has been completely reworked. The game was also released for PlayStation 3, fully remastered in high definition as Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD in Japan on August 25, 2011. The game features HD graphics, support for 3D capabilities and data transfer with the PSP. Developed by a secondary team, it is nevertheless one of the best-selling games of all time on PSP with 4.9 million units sold.
