Synopsis

Monster Party is a 2D action game on Nes. You play as Mark, a young boy who, returning from a baseball game, meets Bert, a monster resembling a purple gargoyle. He requires your help to save his world. To do this, you will be able to merge with Bert and will have to smash the bad guy with your baseball bat.
The game was only officially released in the USA. The Japanese version remained at the prototype stage. The atmosphere was gorier than in the US version (blood in the title screen instead of the slime of the US version, scarier monsters). The bosses there were parodies of American blockbusters (Gremlins, Alien, Planet of the Apes, etc.) which would have posed problems for obtaining the license in Japan.
