Synopsis

Moon Patrol is a video game developed by the Japanese studio Irem and released in 1982 on arcade machines. It has been adapted for various family media. This is a side-scrolling shoot 'em up.
The player controls a land vehicle in lunar environments viewed in profile. The vehicle moves to the right of the screen and the goal is to eliminate the enemy flying saucers and tanks that appear. The arcade machine has a two-way joystick (to change the speed of the vehicle) and two buttons: one to shoot (the vehicle has a cannon pointing forward and another pointing upwards), the other to make the vehicle jump (in order to bypass craters, mines and other blocks of rock present on the course).
