Synopsis

In Moonmist, you are a young and famous American detective. An old friend, Tamara Lynd, wrote you a letter (included in the package) asking for help. So you went to England to test your detective skills.

As the story begins, you find yourself outside Tresyllian Castle, the dark and hauntingly beautiful old castle where Tamara lives. Tamara welcomes you and you meet some interesting guests. But your visit soon turns mysterious, as a series of riddles and clues lead you to a precious hidden treasure.

But Tamara worries about a ghost who torments her. What does this ghost want? Is he jealous of her? Does the ghost want the hidden treasure for himself? Or is the ghost a fake, someone disguising itself to scare Tamara? If so, why?

Some characters in the game will treat you differently depending on whether you play as a man or a woman, and the game has four different variations (chosen at the start by selecting a color).
