Synopsis

Moulin Rouge Senki: Melville no Honoo is a strategic war simulation with RPG elements for the Famicom. The player controls a group of heroes with an entire army under their control, and fights other armies and random encounters with monsters. To begin the game, the player must purchase and equip his army before leaving.

The game's battles take place in turn-based formations, and each formation acts separately and can target different formations on the enemy's side. For example, archers can target any of the four rows of enemy forces, while frontline melee fighters are much more limited.
