Synopsis

Mr Dig is based on the arcade game Mr. Do! where you have to collect all the cherries on different single screen levels to move to the next level. When you move through the tunnels or dig in the dirt, various bad guys will chase you, but they can only move through the tunnels and cannot dig. To stop them, you can either throw a bouncing ball where only one can be thrown at a time, or remove the dirt from under an apple and drop it on top of it. If you get hit by a bad guy you lose one of five lives and when it's all gone it's game over.
