Synopsis

It was in 1987, when Valis had not yet converted to Hentai, that the first “official” part of the series appeared. It was basically a port of a Wolf Team production, Mugen Senshi Valis: The Phantasm Soldier.
It's a company called Tokuma Soft which is in charge this time and the result will ultimately be very far from the original if we except the scenario. The game rides the magic-girl wave: you take control of a simple schoolgirl whose town is invaded by creatures from elsewhere and who will manage to unleash her true potential as a warrior while wearing a bikini once she has entered her true home world. From the start, the first level is gigantic and you get lost too easily, the action is repetitive and the difficulty extremely high. We therefore take too little pleasure in it compared to other games of the genre of which Faxanadu is unfortunately a part. A dispensable cartridge, which we will regret given the potential it showed.
