Synopsis

Murder on the Atlantic takes place in 1938 aboard the Bourgogne, a large French liner carrying wealthy passengers and spies eager to seize new computer technologies. In the shoes of a detective, you investigate two mysterious murders that occurred on board. The game is entirely menu-driven: you choose which part of the ship to explore, search the cabins or read the statements of forty suspects. You do not interact directly with them, but receive written information. During the investigation, you discover a decoder allowing you to decipher secret messages. The puzzles involve finding specific code words. Once the solution has been reconstituted – thanks to the various documents provided with the game – the second part begins: you must correctly answer a series of questions to achieve victory.
