Synopsis

In a world where advanced technology and magic coexist, the Magical Empire controls the vast barren lands and the homes of mythical creatures. A group of four treasure hunters came across an ad promising a reward of one million credits to anyone who recovered a mysterious purple stone with the Empire Crest engraved. The four find the artifact relatively quickly, but it is stolen from them by another group with an agenda of their own. Now the heroes must bring back the stone while dealing with dangerous enemies in their path.
MysticFormula is a top-down shooter. The player navigates the protagonist through hostile environments, shooting regular enemies and bosses, and avoiding their attacks. The player can choose to control one of four treasure hunters: a level-headed main character armed with a laser gun; an elf who shoots fireballs from his staff; an agile thief; and a robust, slow, but powerful robot. All characters use ranged attacks which can be upgraded with power-ups. In addition, another type of power-up brings out one of the characters from the group to help the player in combat, controlled by the AI. Two-player mode is also available.
