Synopsis

Players control Goemon and his friends as they travel through ancient Japan to stop the shoguns of Peach Mountain. You can talk to characters, hit enemies with your pipe (or throw coins at them), visit a deranged clairvoyant who yells “PLASMA!” » at random intervals for no reason, and much more.

Each member of Team Goemon can also gain a special ability to access new areas as players progress through the game. Goemon gains the "Sudden Impact" power, which allows him to move blocks he normally wouldn't be able to move, Ebisumaru can shrink to fit through tiny cracks, Sasuke gets an extra high jump, and Yae gains the ability to transform into a mermaid so she can swim underwater.
