Synopsis

Nanako in Classic Japanese Monster Castle is an ingenious puzzle platformer where you play as the courageous Nanako. Your mission: explore 25 single-screen rooms stacked vertically to rescue your sister Mya, who has taken refuge in a mysterious tower. Each room constitutes a self-contained puzzle, requiring precise crate placement, clever dodges and perfectly timed jumps to reach the exit at the top. Karakasa (ghost umbrellas) serve as platforms, but be careful, they can suddenly come to life! You can even drop crates mid-jump to create floating passages. Once you complete each room, a password in stylized kun script is displayed to save your progress.
